Engineering is a key component to Duffl’s success, providing an intuitive, clean browsing and ordering experience for customers, a versatile interface for Dufflers to sustain daily operations from order fulfillment and inventory management to customer support, and a comprehensive tool to assist in managing each store, involving merchandising and placing supplier orders, scheduling, recruiting, and training.

We are tackling unique problems building the most compelling digital store — using data to source compelling products people want, leveraging software to effectively dispatch racers, and iterating on antiquated supply chain technologies to provide the best selection to our customers.
We think every person’s store should look and feel different.
We want to build a truly personalized store, the TikTok of snacks.
We also want to build the Facebook Ads of CPGs and the Shopify of dark stores.

###Project Samples
- Build our data stack and pipeline from scratch, including but not limited to data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and streamlined BI interface
- Build events data pipeline to allow for high visibility into product feature performance and A/B testing results
- Build search query data pipeline to better curate new SKU decisions
- Build product metadata pipeline to allow for better organization of SKUs on the customer side (intuitive categories and sub-categories), better search performance, better recommendation performance

- – 6+ years of experience in industry.
- – Experience building data stacks from scratch (preferably at high growth startups).
- – Experienced in object-oriented-programming principles and documentation.
- – Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
- – Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
- – Experience building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
