We’re seeking an experienced Data Analyst to serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, providing exceptional reporting and insights with a focus on driving growth within existing accounts and making strategically sound recommendations that align with the client’s business objectives.

Reporting into the Director of Analytics & Insights, the Data Analyst will perform an assortment of strategic analytical tasks for existing accounts across a wide array of different verticals.

The Data Analyst will support performance campaigns and brand-building objectives for both current and new clients across multiple digital channels, including programmatic display, search, social and various content integration programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand the competitive media landscape, new advertising industry developments and standards to help demonstrate our company’s key differentiators and value
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to best practices throughout the full campaign life-cycle
  • Handle collection and analysis of data for research purposes to generate insights and make recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders, whether it be from syndicated resources (MRI, Simmons, eMarketer), Social Listening (Sprout Social), or Search Queries (Google AdWords)
  • Provide prompt and thorough reporting abilities, comparing KPI performances to benchmarks/goals and providing detailed understanding of holistic objectives and granular channel nuances.

    Build interactive dashboard visualizations in Datorama based on client KPIs in collaboration with our Platform Solutions and Ad Ops teams

  • Provide optimizations based on data analysis/trends, including input on A/B Testing scenarios using statistical significance
  • Craft compelling narratives with data; be a storyteller with numbers and synthesize complicated numerical insights into bite-sized nuggets of wisdom
  • Work closely and collaboratively with other departments including, but not limited to, Strategy, Client Services, Ad Operations, Technology, Sales and Creative

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related working experience in at least one of the following DSPs
    – The Trade Desk, DV360, or MediaMath
  • Knowledge of media planning and familiarity with Google Marketing Platform, TheTradeDesk, or similar buying platforms
  • An intuitive sense of the consumer journey, digital attribution, and how digital measurement enables end-to-end observation towards conversion
  • Curiosity, grit, and creativity as it relates to solving complex problems
  • Strong analytical thinking, mathematical skills and knowledge of statistical concepts (Frequency Distribution, Hypothesis Testing, Regression), with experience translating data into insights 
  • Keen attention to detail, highly organized, and consistent follow-through to commitments
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and closely with other team members and autonomously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Mastery of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent English speaking, presentation, and writing skills; experience presenting to internal stakeholders and clients
  • Bachelor’s degree
