Oracle System and Data Analyst Company Overview A large distribution company with multiple locations headquartered in Los Angeles, is looking for an Oracle SystemData Analyst to help modernize their internal IT departmentrsquos capabilities towards delivering business solutions. Position Summary A new role to help establish in-house business analytics capabilities, the System and Data Analyst will help establish and enhance company business data analytics capabilities. Working directly with various departments to provide analytical support to various business functions through the creation and maintenance of BI reports, presentations, and analytical solutions. Support all aspects of business user interaction with Oracle Fusion ERP. Coordinate with external consultants. Candidate Attributes Wersquore looking for a team player with a long-term focus. Responsibilities and Duties Primary responsibilities of the Business Systems Data Analyst include Establish and enhance companyrsquos data analytics capabilities including introduction of technical capabilities to facilitate data centric decision making. Work with executives and other department managers to identify opportunities for improvement. Design and develop various departmental operational reports. Use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data. Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings. Perform in-house application support for Oracle Fusion ERP acting as an internal application expert supporting the business users. Liaise with external Oracle consultants to coordinate delivery of enhancement and support. Qualifications Qualified candidate should possess the following qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or relevant field. A minimum of 3 yearsrsquo experience as a business systems analyst with data analytics responsibilities. Expert knowledge of SQL. Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel or similar data manipulation tool. Proficient in modern analytical and visualization software. Proficient with building and maintaining relational databases. Familiarity with Python or similar programing languages and data integration tools. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion a big plus Ability to work in a collaborative environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly analytical mindset. Ability to perform and be creative with minimal supervision.
