Senior IT Data Analyst Moorecroft Systems is working closely with one of our clients, a global media company, to identify and engage a Senior Data Analyst with strong BI, SQL and Statistical analysis experience in the IT Marketing Advertising eco system. The client is located in the Santa Monica Greater Los Angeles area, on-site or remote work is possible for US based Professionals. This is a LONG TERM consulting opportunity. Description This role is within an exciting cutting edge IT group, which is tasked to discover, experiment and create. This professional will be using their deep understanding of digital media delivery and digital marketing to discover and experiment, producing statistical insights that possibly could change outcomes. This group will be supporting product owners to make important decisions as to the effect of products marketing content changes. Strong SQL, Data Modeling and BI tool experience is essential. Statistics and SQL Statistical function expertise is a must. This IT group’s objective is hypothesis testing and determining statistical significance. Experience with sample size and the statistical principles that allow them to test hypotheses. Requirements Strong expertise with SQL (Statistical functions) and Data Modeling Strong foundation in statistics – specifically draw statistical inferencesconclusions from the data and compile them Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms such as Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Looker etc. BI platform optimization needed to run experiments. Huge emphasis on the ability to compile experiment insights and supporting data into shareable medium and present those insights and supporting data to experiment requestorstakeholders. The core objective is all about optimizing that digital product user experience. Experience with digital optimization digital web, mobile apps, streaming devices or streaming media apps is key.
