is currently looking for an Insurance Clerk.

The right candidate will be responsible for insurance compliance for new and existing subcontractors.

Actively review insurance documents (General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, Professional Liability, and Auto Insurance) to ensure they meet D.R.

Horton, Inc.

insurance requirements.

Process insurance waivers as necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.Handle non-compliance issues with subcontractors, their insurance agents and/or D.R.

Horton’s insurance monitoring service (EBIX)Request renewal insurance documents from subcontractors and/or their insurance agentsAssist D.R.

Horton’s Purchasing Department with insurance reviews for new vendor setupsUtilize JDE as a management system to document insurance compliance activitiesGenerate OCIP/Wrap-Up Insurance enrollment reports and review them with the Purchasing Department to address any enrollment concernsAbility to effectively communicate insurance knowledge to subcontractors and/or their insurance agents regarding insurance documents, wording/language and our OCIP/Wrap-Up insurance programConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeMonitor OCIP (Wrap-Up insurance program) enrollment reports to ensure subcontractors are enrolled in the OCIPsCommunicate daily with company personnel, subcontractors, and insurance agentsMonitor insurance expiration reports to ensure renewal documents are received prior to expirationD.R.

QualificationsRequired QualificationsAssociate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical schoolKnowledge of ISO and manuscript insurance forms and endorsementsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
