will work in a team environment performing customs clearance processes on key brokerage accounts.
Participate in dedicated customer effort and be responsible for the final delivery of customer cargo.This position requires individual customs entry processing skills, Knowledge of proper classifications(FDA, ABI, HTS) and Government agencies.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:Responsible for daily enter review and classification of General merchandiseEntry documentation including 7501 & 3461Provide Necessary documents to other government agenciesPrepare customs brokerage fileVerify arrival information with airlines/NVOCC?s/Steamship lines, ECT.Rate commercial invoice with Tariff numbersVerify country of originData entry and transmit to customsPrepare entry documents for customs arrival and duty paymentPrepare delivery order, Send to trucker with verifying receiptPrepare billing package bill file, email/mail to clientsAdvise importers of any areas of tariff classification regulations and procedureAll entries are filed on time and freight delivered in a timely manner in accordance with company and customerFollow up assigned tasks from managementREQUIREMENT:1 year experience in Customs OR 3PL Logistics(import) acceptableExcellent written and verbal communication skills preferred (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Philippine/ English bilingual preferred)Computer Proficiency (MS Office, Excel, word, Ramport?),Able to work in a fast-paced environmentEligible to work in the United StatesBENEFITSBenefits: Health Insurance, Simple IRA
