Interested persons should contact our Facilities Manager, Joey Faust, at 985-630-6419 or joeyollparish.info to apply.Responsibilities:Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and waxing themClean, sanitize and supply restroomsAssist with cleaning and mopping of the Church and Adoration ChapelClean and service custodial equipment as neededClean windows and glass doorsPerform minor repairs on furniture, buildings and equipmentOn non-school days, perform general cleaning as assignedReport any safety, sanitary or fire hazards to the appropriate departmentMonitor lunch sessions in the cafeteria and empty trash cansLock and unlock doors, gates, and windowsSet out chairs and tables as needed for scheduled eventsAssist maintenance staff with special event set-up and take downEnsure grounds areas are clean and orderlyEducation:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredExperience and Capabilities: Previous custodial and grounds experience preferredAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsComfortable squatting, twisting, bending, and kneeling while using tools and performing maintenance tasksPossess working knowledge of the methods, techniques and materials used in custodial workAbility to climb ladders and work from heightsFamiliar with operating, caring for, and storing custodial equipment and suppliesExcellent Benefits Package:Medical, Dental and Vision InsuranceLife Insurance401(k)Vacation and Sick payPaid Holidays
