KARL STORZ is currently seeking a Credit and Collections Coordinator to join the Credit & Collections Department. As a Credit and Collections Coordinator, you will serve as a key member of the F&A team and will report to the Credit and Collections Supervisor. This position collects, manages and provides resolution of outstanding invoices from past due accounts. This person interacts with cross functional departments such as sales, customer support, accounting, tax, etc.. This position will be responsible for ensuring that AR aging targets are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inform customers of a ‘past due’ balance by various means, including, second, third and fourth notices, mass mailings, emails, and phone calls.
  • Handle customer inquiries on outstanding invoices. This would include mailing/emailing documents as requested by customer.
  • Researching any questions or disputes that the customer may have to determine the validity of the invoice.
  • Research, reconcile and resolve various past due issues.
  • Perform collections as per the company’s escalation policy.
  • Track and record collection notes into company’s ERP system
  • Contact customers and request payment status of all past due invoices.
  • Submit pricing issues and invalid purchase order issues for research.
  • Respond to customer support on various account issues.
  • Complete and submit credit line increases to Credit Risk Analyst.
  • Release held orders or place accounts on credit hold as per the escalation policy.
  • Work toward common goals with others by supporting, encouraging, and sharing information in a collaborative and approachable manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent written and spoken business communication skills.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of SAP order entry and or credit management functions or comparable ERP package.
  • Minimum education level: some college and or equivalent work experience.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.
  • Knowledge of Excel at the intermediate and above level.
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve a problem in support of personal, group, department, or organizational objectives.
