Credit Analyst

Fahrenheit is assisting our client, Tiger Fuel Co., in the search for a Credit Analyst.

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for supporting the entire accounting and finance team by providing expertise in determining and establishing credit terms, customer profitability analysis, collections efforts, and overall customer account management Essential Duties and Responsibilities Determines prospective customer creditworthiness through various methods including, but not limited to standard credit checks, financial analysis, historical company performance, etc.

Implements debt collection policies and procedures of the company.

Monitors the invoicing and money collections processes.

Keeps records of invoices, deposits, and all correspondence regarding payment collection.

Develops, reviews, and updates the Company’s credit policies.

Validates all lending procedures comply with regulations.

Helps create and maintain an in-house, long-term financing program to support the Company’s solar energy division.

Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting customer performance and account data.

Performs customer account analysis and reconciliations on a routine basis, identifying and correcting errors as noted.

Supports the Company’s internal credit card (Tiger Card) administration and processing.

Facilitates effective resolution of customer disputes and recommends bad debt write off criteria.

Completes periodic customer profitability analyses and provides resulting recommendations to management.

Promotes the “Tiger Way” and our cycle of success by building high quality relationships with employees, customers, and outside vendors.

Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications and Experience 3 years of credit collections experience Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or equivalent level of knowledge and experience preferred.

Experience with establishing in-house financing programs is highly preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial management Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel required Ability to synthesize complex or diverse information; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations; uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others; accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others Passionate about quality work and delivering best-in-class “Tiger Way” customer service support Able to learn new technologies, quickly becoming the expert of a rapidly evolving set of technology needs
