A prominent government organization has a great opportunity for a highly skilled and Court Assistant who is looking to grow their legal career. This position will start in-office and may allow for some remote work after a month or so. Please note, this Court Assistant must live local to LA, and parking in-office is not provided.
Do you have experience working at the PD or PA’s office? Have you worked under a judge? This may be the position for you!
This is a 6-month request for a Court Assistant. The temp will be performing courtroom support with the following duties:
- Process and open cases
- File and serve notices/orders
- Proofread complaints, answers, and other legal documents
- Advise judges on the case processing status and assisting with jurisdictional and procedural issues

Job Requirements:
– 1+ years of previous legal work experience working in a court
