JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a Cost Engineer to be a part of an exciting construction project in Los Angeles, CA.

The position requires an individual who can prioritize work effectively, adapt to the different working styles of the other members, organize work product and other materials for easy access, and anticipate, communicate, problem solve, and plan for inevitable changes in his/her assignments, workload and deadlines.
Position is based in the Los Angeles Area.Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:+ Have knowledge of estimating and background in infrastructure.+ Maintain business processes in compliance with policies, procedures and contract terms.+ Work alongside project teams to assure reporting data integrity.
Perform quality assurance of individual Project reports and assist the teams in enhancing consistency and accuracy of all reporting information.+ Perform independent and proactive analysis and trouble-shooting of project and program reporting information with development of concise solution recommendations for complex problems.+ Provide information and mentoring to team members in the areas of controls, risk management, budgeting and forecasting, driving consistency and compliance of business processes and reporting.+ Provide support to Program Controls Managers and project teams as needed to meet reporting deliverables in a timely manner.+ Produce monthly program reporting deliverables such as cash flows and contingency analysis.Requirements+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent+ 2-6 years of engineering experience+ Experience with construction software is preferred+ Critical thinking and decision making skills+ Ability to prioritize and manage timeJLM Strategic Talent Partners is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
