The Financial Crimes Risk Management group consists of anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, foreign corruption, fraud, and corporate security.

financial system, and our country from illicit actors who exploit banking services with nefarious and criminal intent.

Our fraud group protects our clients and Bank from losses while the Bank’s physical security team protects our clients, visitors, employees and Bank’s monetary and physical assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Corporate Security Analyst is responsible for providing professional security services to provide a safe environment for personnel, clients and visitors and to protect the property and assets at First Republic Bank.

The Analyst has the primary responsibility for managing the team’s input, mitigation, disposition, and escalation process.

The Analyst is a multi-faceted position requiring the ability to triage incoming communications and route matters in accordance to priority or category.

Often the initial point of contact, Analysts must possess strong communication skills under stressful situations.

Analysts perform administrative duties such as the issuance of physical access and alarm credentials.

They also provide intelligence summaries on security issues and trends based on current information from government, industry, and other sources.

Analysts also provide operational, strategic and tactical support to Corporate Security team members, internal and external partners and stakeholders, and other entities as directed.
 
The individual must be reliable, dependable, and a self-starter able to work within a team environment as well as independently.

This position will be located in our (LOCATION) office.
 
What you’ll do as a Corporate Security Analyst:

– Manage daily tasks related to the department’s physical access control, intrusion alarm, video surveillance, and incident management system.

– Make sound decisions and initiate action during high tension stressful situations.

– Manage multiple security systems simultaneously.

– Maintain situational awareness and knowledge of the Bank’s geographic locations.

– Create accurate communications logs and accurately report incidents.

– Monitor local, national, and international incidents that may affect bank assets or operations.

– Utilize geographic information systems to assess potential risk and incidents that occur in proximity of Bank assets.

– Prepare clear and concise reports and disseminate information as needed.

– Prepare intelligence summaries and threat assessments as needed.

– Perform tasks related to the provisioning of access profiles and alarm codes in a timely manner.

– Escalate incidents and matters to team members as appropriate.

– Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities.

– Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the Director of Security.

Qualifications

– College degree or equivalent work experience

– Effective written and verbal communication skills

– Must be flexible and able to work traditional and non-traditional work hours as determined by the needs of the business

– Knowledge of physical security systems and their applications

– MS Office Suite knowledgeable; Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio.

– Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

– Ability to identify critical issues quickly, accurately, and effectively brief the Corporate Security and Investigation team

– Ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently

– Ability to work independently and effectively in a high tension, complex environment

– Ability to interact with all levels of colleagues and vendors

– Provides extraordinary service

– Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions; understand the meanings of words and respond effectively; and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly

– Vision must be sufficient to read data reports, manuals, and computer screens

– Hearing must be sufficient to understand a conversation at a normal volume, including telephone calls and in person

– Speech must be coherent to clearly convey or exchange information, including the giving and receiving of assignments and/or directions

– Minimum type 50 words per minute
