We are seeking a technically-minded Copywriting professional to join our team working from home on a Pacific Time Zone schedule as needed.n nWe are currently seeking an experienced copywriter to work on various campaigns across our client’s organization.
Reporting directly to the Creative Directors and Head of Copy, we’re looking for someone who’s able to create, edit, and produce compelling writing for a wide range of global communications — from conception through execution — with a particular track record in grasping and crafting complex, sensitive, and occasionally ambiguous subjects and concepts into clear, understandable, and engaging narratives.n nWe’re after someone who’s versatile both producing and creating, working with others and working solo — as well as someone with the ability to respond quickly to feedback and think on their feet, effortlessly able to change direction while keeping their eye on the big picture.
The position will be remote, so keeping regular lines of communication open with the team throughout the working day is essential.
The team works closely together, so the work is highly collaborative, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable with a shared process.
The ideal candidate will have also worked extensively with designers, art directors, and other creative professionals, as well as being able to work closely with clients and strategic planners.n n Key Experiencen An accomplished copywriter with 5+ years experience Experience writing with a good sense of engagement and warmth, with particular experience writing in an informal, yet professional voice Experience in multiple fields: short to medium form video, copywriting for websites, collateral, advertising, etc.
Significant editorial and proofreading experience at a top-tier publication, internal communication team, design firm, corporate communications department, or ad agency Firm grounding in U.S.
English style (AP Style, Strunk & White, etc.), usage, grammar, and punctuation.
Familiarity with standard style and usage guides Experience with a variety of formats (e.g., video, social media), with the ability to identify emerging trends in communicationsn n Key Requirementsn Exceptional portfolio of creative work Strong understanding of marketing strategy and campaign development Strong understanding of storytelling/narrative structure, pacing, graphics, music, shot selection and all key aspects of audio visual content.
