Skydance Animation is hiring a Coordinator who will be an integral part of the Current Series team.

This individual should have a pulse on the industry, a passion for animation, talent for organization, and the ability to be a strong partner to the creative team.

Responsibilities
Acts as second for series in production by providing notes, guidance and structure on story materials, script drafts, art deliverables, storyboards, animation, music and casting Facilitates creative pipelines for series to external distribution platform, Marketing, Consumer Products, BA & Legal, S&P, etc Manages episodic log lines, assets, schedules and other materials as necessary Prepares & provides materials for internal presentations, external panels, conferences, awards submissions and other ancillary series needs Identifies new talent, both emerging and veteran, to support all phases of Current Series, including reviewing writing samples and tracking writer avails Along with VP, Current, provide ongoing creative updates with Senior Leadership.

Create milestones for feedback, monitor progress against deadlines, and provide mid-mortem and post-mortem analysis on patterns in series to leverage best practices across studio projects.

Represents SDA at industry events Builds and maintains trusted relationships with agents and industry executives Stays up to date on current programming from competing studios
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in development and/or production Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in media, or equivalent work experience Proven ability to evaluate artwork, digital media and/or technical qualifications Knowledge of the animation, visual effects, comics & related disciplines Must have a strong knowledge of, and relationships with, key players in the animation industry, including emerging talent, agents, production companies, producers, writers, etc Good writing skills and knowledge of story structure Ability to manage creative talent Clear-thinking, straightforward approach to problem-solving and decision making Strong ability to build working relationships with other SDM departments and executives Excellent verbal and written communication skills Skydance is a diversified media company founded by David Ellison in 2010 to create high quality, event-level entertainment for global audiences.
