Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs basic contract and amendment drafting utilizing Company templates.
  • Administers commercial and government contracts in accordance with Company policies and legal requirements.
  • Identifies contract issues and raises such to Contracts Administration management team for resolution.
  • Meets identified contracting service level goals.
  • Assists in the tracking and reporting of contract requests.
  • Facilitates the contract management life cycle through communication and coordination with other functional areas.
  • Performs a variety of contract administrative tasks for multiple business units at the direction of the Contracts Administration management team.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or Paralegal certificate required.

Experience:

  • 1 year minimum experience in contracting or related area, preferably in a healthcare sales setting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic contract drafting experience
  • Knowledge of the principles of contracting
  • Familiar with commercial concepts, practices, and procedures including a working knowledge of the commercial operations of a sales and marketing organization
  • Team-oriented with the ability to handle diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to interact with management and senior level managers internally and externally
  • Good analytical, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills desired
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to take instruction well
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
