Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs basic contract and amendment drafting utilizing Company templates.
- Administers commercial and government contracts in accordance with Company policies and legal requirements.
- Identifies contract issues and raises such to Contracts Administration management team for resolution.
- Meets identified contracting service level goals.
- Assists in the tracking and reporting of contract requests.
- Facilitates the contract management life cycle through communication and coordination with other functional areas.
- Performs a variety of contract administrative tasks for multiple business units at the direction of the Contracts Administration management team.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or Paralegal certificate required.
Experience:
- 1 year minimum experience in contracting or related area, preferably in a healthcare sales setting
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Basic contract drafting experience
- Knowledge of the principles of contracting
- Familiar with commercial concepts, practices, and procedures including a working knowledge of the commercial operations of a sales and marketing organization
- Team-oriented with the ability to handle diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to interact with management and senior level managers internally and externally
- Good analytical, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills desired
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Must be able to take instruction well
- Must have excellent attention to detail
