Absorption Systems is seeking a knowledgeable Business Contract Specialist Paralegal to assist us with our contracts and immigration caseload.
The successful candidate will provide excellent paralegal and administrative support to our corporate staff.
Additionally, your duties will include obtaining and preparing data for nonimmigrant visas and permanent residency applications, while maintaining immigration related case data.
Contracts ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, negotiate, and manage vendor and sponsor contracts such as non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, consulting agreements and amendments, in coordination with the legal review team and applicable business team units.Immigration Related ResponsibilitiesManage foreign workers’ caseload from intake, including maintaining Public Access Files and maintaining an immigration case management system to track employee work authorization; keep HR, management and employees apprised of the progress of each case.
Obtain, prepare, and file data and forms for nonimmigrant visas and permanent residency applications in collaboration with external immigration attorney to ensure continuous employment authorization is maintained for each worker at each stage.Administrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain patent files and log updates provided by patent attorneys in appropriate patent logs; ensure timely payment of patent renewal fees.Prepare corporate documents as needed.
