Contract Attorney

LHH is currently working with a large national construction and manufacturing company to find a contract attorney to manage contract review for their corporate office. This person will work closely with the general counsel to review contracts, recommend changes, and manage any other contract issues. This role is fully remote.

The role will last an indefinite amount of time, likely into late 2022 or beyond. The role will be 40 hours per week, and compensation is decided by location as this company works in many states. We anticipate pay ranging from $50-70/hour.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with contract review. Any experience working with construction companies is also welcome.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice, guidance, and support to the Company’s business units for operational matters related to customer contracts, including, but not limited to, sales and services agreements, purchase orders, construction bids, reseller and supply agreements
  • Review customer contracts and provide feedback relative to legal terms
  • Draft contracts or contract language
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Operations team
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the company’s businesses and all operational legal documents pertaining to the businesses
  • Perform legal research and provide legal advice and assistance to other departments
  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Candidates must live in and be licensed to practice in OR, WA, or CA
  • Candidates must be proficient with contract and document review
  • Experience with construction companies is preferred
