– Skydance Animation is looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join the Business & Legal Affairs team.

The role includes but is not limited to reviewing, drafting, and managing legal agreements for a growing slate of productions.

The ideal candidate has experience providing previous support within the entertainment industry and guilds, is highly detail-oriented, and has an enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced and growing environment.

#Animation Responsibilities* Draft, review, administrate all types of production-related contracts, including above-the-line talent, Independent Contractors, Union Daily Hires* Track deal terms and update negotiation status on internal tracking systems; upload documents and enter contract terms, ensure integrity of information from inception and negotiation through execution, payments and satisfaction of future obligations* Proactively review and evaluate the contractual financialobligations in agreements and deal memos (actors, writers, producers, executive producers, directors, etc.)* Work closely with production teams, Casting, Human Resources, Finance & Payroll on issues arising in production, communicate contractual risks and obligations* Maintain daily/weekly reports, such as contract status reports, programming and development reports* Ensure legal policies and contracts are applied across productions on a consistent basis* Administrate guild signatory status for each production* Prepare legal correspondence, including termination letters, extensions and amendments* Respond to legal inquiries; raise and escalate legal issues as necessary* Assist in preparation of restrictions memos for each production* Track and prepare reports relating to status of production agreements and other production activities* Ad hoc contract administration and/or contract management projects as requested Requirements* 3+ years as a Contract Administrator in Entertainment, experience within Animation preferred* Skilled at drafting and interpreting licensing agreements, co-production, etc.* Experience with guild rules and regulations* Experience with intellectual property clearances, copyright registration* Detail-oriented, with accurate input and proofing skills* Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organization skills with ability to interact well with all levels of personnel* Self-starter with ability to prioritize high-volume work in fast-paced, dynamic environment* Proven ability to handle high confidential and sensitive information Skydance is a diversified media company founded by David Ellison in 2010 to create high quality, event-level entertainment for global audiences.
