Conflicts Analyst

Law firm in Century City is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to joined their team! Offering two days a week of remote work and amazing benefits!

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and timely conflicts search results generated from Elite 3E, including analysis and evaluation of the conflict check report.
  • Work with attorneys and assistants to obtain clear information necessary to perform accurate and complete conflict searches.
  • Analyze conflict reports to identify potential conflict issues, suggest possible resolutions, and prepare clear and concise summaries of required steps to address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, assistants, and other team members when necessary to ensure the timely resolution of potential conflicts.
  • Perform factual research using a variety of internal and external resources, including online databases and the internet to ensure data integrity for accurate conflicts analysis.
  • Assist with various other projects and initiatives, as needed, including database maintenance, lateral hire conflict searches, and implementation of ethical walls.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of conflicts resolution experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word required.
  • Experience with Elite 3E, Intapp, LegalKEY, or other automated conflict checking system.
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm and ability to do data entry for extensive periods of time.
  • Ability to file alphabetically and numerically.
