Location: Sylmar, CA nn Duration: 6 months with possible extension nn nn Description: nn For This Position we are looking for someone with MES Experience (FTPC Preferred, any acceptable), Manufacturing experience (Medical devices preferred, any acceptable), Part and BoM change management with a PLM System (Wind Chill preferred any acceptable).
Position will take requirements from the Manufacturing Engineers and setup and configure the MES system to function and operate per the changes requested.

– Working under general supervision, Provides level 1 MES system support to local manufacturing business teams.
Works directly with clients and applies IT, business knowledge and experience to determine root causes of any issues encountered by the manufacturing business teams while utilizing the MES software to manufacture product.
Perform configuration of the FTPC MES software based on business requirements that are routed through the PLM (product lifecycle management) systems of TCE/Wind Chill.

– Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience nn
– 1+ years of technical experience nn
– 1+ years of experience with FTPC and/or PROMIS MES systems nn
– 1+ years of manufacturing / shop floor knowledge / experience nn
– Advanced computer knowledge and experience nn
– Excellent communication and customer service skills. Able to bridge communication between technical areas and business areas for a full and complete understanding of expectations nn
– Ability to multi-task efficiently on several simultaneous efforts nn
– Experience in training material creation and delivery, using a variety of training methods nn
– Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
