Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking a Configuration Analysts to join our growing team of diverse professionals.

The selected candidate will work as a full-time teleworker.

Responsibilities:
• Support the preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met
• Understand program contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes
• Review and support proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system
• Coordinates modification records for management control
• Coordinate change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor
• Reviews released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities
• Assigns and controls program hardware / software data identification control numbers per requirements
• Assigns part numbers and serial number requirements
• Performs Technical Review Board and Configuration Control Board activities
• Establishes agendas, publishes minutes, and tracks meeting actions
• Processes change packages through lifecycle, including disposition and documentation for hardware and software configuration items
• Performs program data release functions via Product Lifecycle Management tools
• Maintains various Configuration Data Management (CDM) reports to support program, including Configuration Status Reports, Engineering Change Request status, CDM performance metrics, etc.
• Supports internal program CDM audits against program SOW and functional Command Media mandates
• Provides aid to Functional Configuration Audits and performs Physical Configuration Audits
• Documents Management for deliverable Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) and non-CDRL documents Basic Qualifications:Must have one of the following:High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of configuration, quality, and/or supplier analysis experienceBachelor’s degree in aviation, business, or related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of configuration, quality, and/or supplier analysis experienceMaster’s degree in aviation, business, or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of configuration, quality, and/or supplier analysis experienceMust have an active U.S.

Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearanceMust be able to travel as needed (up to 10% of the time) Preferred Qualifications:Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environmentGood communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with customers and team membersExtreme attention to detail while managing a variety of tasks, and ensuring complete accuracySupporting deliverables while coordinating among other team membersWorking knowledge of Configuration Management processesWorking knowledge of Statement of Work (SOW) details outlined in contractsExperience working in an environment & role that requires a sense of urgency to meet challenging and/or overlapping deadlinesPrevious CDM experience on international programs Salary Minimum: $61,360 Salary Maximum: $92,040 Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
