The Assistant Meeting Planner position will support the team in all facets of the meeting planning process.

This is a unique opportunity to help us expand our services all while giving you visibility and exposure.ResponsibilitiesCreation, development, and maintenance of registration websitesAssist with faculty communications and their travel logisticsOversee the evolving meeting agendasAid in venue sourcing, site selection, vendor sourcing, and procurementCreation and management of meeting timelinesDevelopment and distribution of meeting marketing materialsCreate the company’s social media strategy and manage accountsAssist with application for and adherence to Continuing Medical Education (CME) processesInterfacing with clientsDeliver presentations articulately and professionally to clients and stakeholdersDesign and implement attendee surveysTravel for conferences and site inspectionsSpecial projects and process improvementsAssist and support a meeting or event from start to finishPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree required1-3 years of event/meeting/conference planning or hospitality experience preferred (internships okay)Exceptional verbal and written skillsProfessional demeanor and excellent client/people managementAbility to travel up to 40 days per year, for an average of 4 days at a time, often on weekendsExtreme attention to detail with high standardsExcellent at setting priorities under pressure and tight deadlinesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload, think strategically, and stay on top of tactical executionSelf-motivated, confident, energetic, and flexibleThrives working with a teamExperience with Cvent Event Management preferredComputer skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Familiarity with online collaboration tools such as Dropbox, Google Docs, OneDrive, Zoom, etc.How to applyPlease send a cover letter with salary preference and resume.Meetingjobs.Com.
