The ideal candidate would have leadership skills, initiative, and prior experience finishing concrete.

This position is full time and hourly.

It may include occasional travel and on-call work, sometimes necessary to handle emergencies and get projects done on time.Responsibilities: Manage Construction ProjectsThe Foreman will oversee concrete pouring projects from preparation to completion.

This requires breaking the project into different stages, planning the people and resources needed for each stage, and handling any problems that could affect the project’s quality and completion time.

Follow Blueprints and DrawingsWhether we’re building concrete walls, sidewalks, or a full building, the foreman will use blueprints and drawings to plan, layout and execute each step of the project.

This documentation also helps troubleshoot problems when laying concrete to ensure a stable structure.

Supervise and Assist Crew MembersAssigning tasks to crew members and supervising their work, are important aspects of this job.

Beyond providing supervision, the foreman will often obtain materials, lift heavy items, and load the work truck to help crew members.

Prepare and Install ConcreteThe field superintendent will work alongside crew members with concrete preparation, installation and finishing when necessary.

Complete Daily Reports, Documentation and Time cardsThis supervisory role requires the foreman to keep records of all time worked and materials used.

They are also responsible for clocking the crew members in and out of jobs.

The foreman will be expected to work alongside the project manager to ensure success of the division.Qualifications: Must pass Drug Screen (Required) Valid Driver’s License (Required) Clean Driving Record (Preferred) Ability to accurately read and understand project blueprints and elevations Must be able to layout and manage job sites Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
