Compliance Coordinator

The position of Compliance Coordinator has been created to support the Accounting department with a variety of accounting related functions.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.

Must be dependable and have excellent organization and communication skills.

Strong ability to handle a large volume, multi-task, while successfully assessing priorities, and analyzing problems.

This individual will have experience with reviewing subcontractor’s certified payroll, filing CA preliminary notices, DAS 140 & SF1413 forms, Contractor license and OCIP/COI.

​ SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE: Education / Training / Work Experience:
· 3-5 years of construction experience relating to compliance.

· Experience with subcontractor labor compliance / certified payroll.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under a high-volume workload.

· Urgency to complete tasks so projects can keep momentum.

· Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects throughout the day with changing priorities.

· Shows desire to do what it right to limit risk for the company.

· Associates Degree or additional technical training.

· Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
· Standard office environment.

Individual will be frequently be required to stand, walk, sit, and hear.

Occasionally may have to lift boxes full of materials for purposes of setup of program, typically 25 pounds or less.

Job Requirements: WHAT YOU’LL DO :
· Proactively manage accounting data base for compliance documents.

· Create and maintain electronic job folders and hard copy file folders in filing cabinets for all original documentation.

· Responsible for reviewing, recording and following up on Subcontractors certified payroll:
· Verify that appropriate wages are being paid on certified payroll against – CA prevailing wage labor-wage determinations and/or Federal Davis Bacon wage rates.

· Reviewing new subcontractors fringe benefits statements, DAS 140s – DAS142s, CAC2s (training fund contributions)
· Log and scan daily certified payroll into our compliance lien data base.

· Forward labor documents as needed per individual job requirements.

· Maintain Subcontractor Contractor License in binders, Spectrum and Subcontractor database.

· Maintain Subcontractor COI
· Support department as needed, including:
· Perform overtime work as required and requested by supervisor to meet department and company needs and other tasks as assigned.
