*_This position can be based in any CA HUB office or WA or OR offices.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Compliance Analyst/Paralegal will:

Research new and existing legislation to answer questions posed by HUB EB Service teams and clients

Participate in client and prospect meetings to discuss HUB’s capabilities and emerging legislative and regulatory mandates

Assist the Compliance Manager draft legislative alerts or legislative updates on new legislation, regulations, or judicial developments impacting employee benefit plans and their administration

Assist with the development of internal and external training materials and presentations for staff and clients on emerging employee benefit trends

Perform compliance review of small clients’ group health plans

Collaborate with the Compliance Manager, Pacific Region CCO (Compliance Chief Officers) in drafting articles for our monthly compliance bulletins.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

You are perfect for this opportunity if you

3-5 years of Employee Benefits experience

Travel required will not exceed 15%

Experience drafting summaries on new legislation or regulatory developments

Moderate knowledge of the health care industry required

Works effectively on a team in all levels of the organization

Must be proficient in Microsoft office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
