Job Summary:The Compensation Analyst, working alongside the Corporate HR team will implement and maintain compensation plans and programs that attract and retain talent, drive business results, and reward employees consistent with the organization’s overall strategy.
This role can be based in the US or Canada and will report to VP Human Resources, within the Corporate Human Resources organization.What You Will Do:Design and administer compensation programs including base pay, long and short-term incentives, variable and commissions to align with company objectivesManage and analyze complex sets of sensitive and confidential data accurately, efficiently, and with integrityMaintain knowledge/expertise in the appropriate functional areas, especially relating to local laws, regulations, and compliance requirementsAct as strong subject matter expert regarding compensation administration and leading practice processesFoster relationships with Country HR Business Partners and across functions to deliver an agile customer experienceDemonstrate ability to create and deliver presentation material in a clear, concise and effective manner.
For example, support of annual merit trainingAdvise leadership and HR Business Partners on effective compensation decisionsImplement “best practices” to improve processes and the overall effectiveness of policies and programs and partner with HR, and Finance as it relates to implementing and administering pay programs, policies, and systemsPerform various compensation related auditsProvide advanced analyses supporting compensation program design and implementation, including market analysis, cost modeling, structure development, and pay mix scenariosWhat You Will Need:Basics: 5years of HR experience, including at least 2-3 years in Comp administrationExperience in leading and managing internal and external teamsCustomer facing and total quality background preferredVendor management / vendor relationships in compensation administration servicesDisciplined problem solver; defines and analyzes the problem before actingMust possess excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced formulas and functions (Data Modeling, Advanced Pivot Tables, etc.)Superior data analysis skills and demonstrated ability to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations based on quantitative dataSelf-starter with strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, complex, and sometimes ambiguous environmentExcellent written communication, verbal communication, data visualization and presentation skillsHigh degree of emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity, flexibility, creativity and self-motivation-requiredDemonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
