n Genesis10 is currently seeking a Communications Coordinator with our client in the SEO industry in their Playa Vista, CA location.
This is a 6 month + contract position.
Description: n Seeking a Communications Coordinator with experience in entertainment publicity to join the communications team responsible for the creation and implementation of publicity campaigns for all original series and specials.
The ideal candidate should have experience in awards submissions/strategy and be extremely organized with an ability to prioritize multiple projects.
This position will report to the Head of Entertainment Communications.
n Responsibilities: n Support publicity team on a wide variety of show campaigns Maintain/update press lists, coordinate press mailings, assemble daily clips, maintain team launch calendar Organize talent travel for press events and maintain itineraries, process invoices Build and edit press materials for projects Build and maintain strong relationships with media across multiple disciplines including entertainment, trade, consumer, television, film and technology Detail-oriented, self-starter, who can work in an entrepreneurial environment; capable of working calmly and quickly in high-stress environments Work and facilitate press events including press tours, award shows, festivals and screenings which may fall outside of standard office hours Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional internal teams including Development, Marketing, Creative, Research, Internal Communications, Music and more n Requirements: n College degree 2-3 years of public relations/event experience, including internships (including press releases/newsletters/industry events/entertainment awards submissions)
