Commercial Lines – Producer: At PGI, the Commercial Lines – Producer will prospect for new commercial lines business in the small to middle market business segments.

The Producer will be tasked proactive outreach, relationship development, insurance evaluations, sales of insurance policies, client onboarding, and client retention.

The Producer must deliver results that satisfy the requirements of PGI, in a manner that is consistent with PGI’s insurance carrier growth and profitability goals.

Responsibilities: Develop a prospecting strategy aligned with carrier appetites.

Construction of lead lists and prospecting opportunities.

Phone, Digital, and In-Person calling to set appointments.

Conversion of opportunities into sales.

Complete information gathering and detailed underwriting submissions to carrier partners.

Presentation of quotes and proposals of insurance.

Binding of coverage, collection of payments, issuance of policies, complete client onboarding experience.

Risk management strategy and loss control guidance.

Annual reviews and remarketing of insurance when necessary.

Qualifications: Must have an active P&C license
– REQUIRED Preferably 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and basic computer skills Additional Competencies: Excellent communication and persuasion skills Able to work independently and drive results.
