Breeze Barista Job Description
Breeze is hiring a full time barista with a desire to be a part of a vibrant and growing team for our Peet’s Coffee partnership. We’ve learned that the secret to great coffee is the people who make it, and we apply the same care in selecting and preparing our teams as we do when crafting the perfect cup.
Responsibilities
- Operational excellence
- Provides consistent quality in the preparation of drinks and brewing of coffee
- Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with orders coming in quickly
- Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
- Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
What You’ll Need (required):
- In order to obtain a security badge for work in LAX, you must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- Right to work status in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to successfully pass a 10-year security screening (no felony convictions)
- Flexibility in schedule and the ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation due to various schedules
- Able to communicate in English
What You’ll Need (preferred):
- Past experience at LAX or other airport
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Friendly, outgoing, team player
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Proven barista experience
- Excellent understanding of coffee preparation
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Digital savvy as Breeze is completely digital
