VERSA PRODUCTS INC is hiring for a full-time Laser Operator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and displays excellent attention to detail. Our manufacturing floor is 75,000 sq. ft. with some of latest technology in laser cutting and bending. Our ideal Laser Operator has experience in a fabrication setting.

Job Summary:
The Laser Operator will be required to operate the laser machine. This includes inserting material, selecting correct program, removing completed material, and quality control.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operating laser to produce parts for production
- Inserting and securing sheet metal into laser bed
- Selecting correct program needed to produce the correct end product
- Removing completed sheet from program
- Removing parts from completed sheet
- Stack and distribute parts to brake operator
- Quality control of parts cut conditions
Requirements:
- Knowledge of different materials, thickness
- Knowledge of using measuring tools such as calipers and gauges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills
- Experience with metal fabrication preferred
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years experience as a Laser Operator performing related duties
- Experience with Mazak, Mitsubishi, and/or Salvagnini CNC lasers preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to traverse the production facility.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
