ClearFuze – Business Development Executive

NOTE: This role is remotely-based in the Los Angeles area, but requires routine travel to ClearFuze’s headquarters in Santa Monica and client sites around the metro area.

We eliminate the headaches, distractions, and hindrances posed by our clients’ existing infrastructure and implement changes that dramatically improve how their business operates on an hourly basis.
ClearFuze is looking for a bright, motivated sales hunters to initiate and close new deals with SMBs seeking world-class IT services at reasonable prices. As a Business Development Associate with us, you will be responsible for the full cycle of the deal, from prospecting through close. While you’ll receive full training and support from us, we’re looking for self-starters with “sales DNA” who thrive on landing new business and value uncapped earning potential.
This is a technical sales role that includes all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing to account management, and offers a broad Southern California territory, strong base salaries and benefits, and, of course, uncapped commission. While much of the sales cycle may be conducted remotely, your in-person presence will be required as-needed toward the end of the close.
Responsibilities
Engage prospective new clients through a consultative sales approach to understand IT pain points and needs and qualify opportunities.
Daily prospecting using defined opportunity identification techniques.
Utilize outbound sales efforts (digital/phone/email) to convert incoming leads into opportunities and new customers.
Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through follow up communications designed to increase customer interest in ClearFuze services
Achieve weekly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities and closed business.
Utilize CRM tools to contact prospects and customers, track ongoing activity and report weekly status to management team.
Requirements
This role is remotely-based in the Los Angeles area, but requires routine travel to our headquarters and client sites.
3 to 5 years of proven B2B technology sales experience, actively closing Net-New Business Prospects, preferably in IT or managed services.
Top performer with verifiable track record of quota-busting
Able and willing to present face-to-face at prospective client locations around southern California, with strict adherence to Covid safety protocol
Focused and positive attitude with a true “hunter” mentality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment’
Microsoft Office proficiency required, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
CRM Experience (Salesforce, Sales Loft, Autotask, etc.)
Upbeat, can-do attitude with high sense of urgency and accountability
Competitive and commission-hungry
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
