Claims Specialist

Job Description Groundbreaking online insurance agency provides a full range of moving, storage, global mobility and logistics insurance services for families and businesses worldwide.

We are seeking a Claim Specialist to join our team.

This full-time position is ideal for someone who has claims, customer service or operations experience.

The Claims Adjuster is responsible for adjusting US domestic and International Household Goods and Logistics/Cargo claims.

They will also assist the Moving Company and/or insured with questions regarding claims.

Principal Daily Responsibilities Adjusting of claims including set up, sending claim packet to the insured, assignment of inspection/repair firms (if necessary), requests and follow ups for moving documentation, and continuous follow up activity Payment for Claims Determine liability and mitigate risk Clearly explaining coverage, settlements and procedures.

Responding to disputes from the insured.

Manning desks of other adjusters when necessary Skills Required: 1 year of claims handling or billing experience or dispute experience Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excellent verbal communication skills, primarily phone and email.
