Position Summary: The Crop Risk Services (CRS) team maintains strong relationships with a network of third party agents that sell government-subsidized as well as CRS crop insurance products to help mitigate the risk and uncertainty of loss for Americas farmers.

The CRS Crop Insurance Claims Auditor staff plays a key role in delivering superior customer service to its customers, both internal/external and agent network and ensuring claims are audited accurately and timely on each insurance policy in accordance with the US Department of Agricultures Risk Management Agency (RMA) guidelines.

The Claims Auditor works collaboratively with both the CRS team and customers to resolve issues which may surface.

The essential objective of the Claims Service Representative is to respond to customer inquiries professionally and timely, and to provide customers with accurate solutions to their inquiries as promptly as possible.

Responsibilities & Duties Include: Professionally represent the CRS brand, its teams, and uphold our Fundamental Principles and Code of Ethics.

Nurture and ensure claims satisfaction and build loyalty, trust, and dependability through focused attention to our customers Provide exceptionally prompt response to customer inquiries and strive to resolve the inquiry as judiciously as possible (Agents, Insureds and Adjusters) Escalate any customer issue internally when the subject matter exceeds your knowledge base.

Leverage our team of experts to help deliver resolution foster team play Diligently communicate to the CRS team regarding any issue that may require intervention or resources and expertise beyond your knowledge to resolve Manage each issue the agency has presented until resolution has been solidified own the issue until closure is reached Work collaboratively with the claims, compliance and sales staffs and communicate claim issues to the appropriate stakeholders.

Keep all parties apprised of any potential issue which could mushroom into a larger more complex issue to be resolved.

Utilize company (CRM) application/tools to manage, log and describe all issues and activities undertaken to resolve customers inquiry Recommend alternative methodologies and processes that could reduce the frequency of common customer inquiries from re-occurring Create and foster a team environment that encourages initiative, creativity, and solutions for overall company goal achievement Consistently deliver punctual courteous service to all external and internal customers.

Be available as needed and rapidly acknowledge communication transmissions (phone, email, text) received from customers Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues Ability to locate and interpret policy/handbook language and apply it via application or give written/oral responses Ability to read maps and aerial photographs Ability to audit claims in a timely manner to meet set goals within provided deadlines Ability to handle problem situations with internal/external customers in a professional manner Be able to follow appropriate regulatory rules, regulations, and procedures Assist with special projects as assigned Attend and participate in in-person industry or company training as requested.

This may include the need to drive long distances, traveling via air, and staying overnight.

Complete required training and pass required exams to obtain required licenses including (but not limited to) CAPP Certification within six months of hire date.

Complete Expense Reports in a timely manner.

Other duties and responsibilities as designated and apportioned Experience and Education Requirements: Minimum of two (2) years experience employed with an AIP or Crop Insurance Agency At least three (3) years experience in customer/client service, account management, or business development disciplines Agricultural experience (e.g., farming, farming operations) desirable Bachelor Degree; preferably in Business Administration or Agriculture Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Impeccable customer service orientation Astute attention to detail, very process-oriented, strong analytical thinking qualities Self-driven, self-starter, enthusiastic, possesses the ability to work without daily and direct supervision and management Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills orally and written Ability to remain unemotional and combative when dealing with challenging situations Proficient in computer and various CE devices; strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to think creatively, tactically and strategically individually and as a team This position offers a complete benefits package, including 401K, health, life and dental insurance.

CRS requires the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, and a background check including an MVR.
