Candidate must be EPA 608 Universal certified, have own personal tools, and be able to travel to job sites in southern California and Nevada.
Willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed to meet construction project schedules.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Install HVAC systems for industrial and commercial facilitiesGood knowledge of how HVAC systems workAble to install and replace HVAC systems such as rooftop packaged AC units, split systems, water chillers, ductless split, humidifiers, humidity control systems, economizers, ventilation hood and fan systems, heaters, and boilers, and so forthExperience with installation of VAV boxes and multi-zoning systemsExperience with working and laying out ductwork, supply, and return air accessoriesInstall insulation on ductworkFamiliar with low voltage controls such as T-stats, smoke detectors, and so forthAble to use forklifts, and man lifts safelySkilled in Copper brazing, running copper line sets, and PVC piping workInstall pipe supports and threaded steel pipingConstruction of wooden frames, and curbs for AC unitsAble to read blueprints is a plusAttention to detail and able to keep work area organize and cleanTravel to various job sites to complete installation workMust be customer service-oriented and an active participant in a team activityAs an HVAC Installer working for a locally owned and privately held commercial and industrial mechanical contractor, you will be backed by a group of highly trained professionals with a combined total of over 100 years in the industry.
