The Role
- Preparing internal loan document sets and internal lease document sets
- Engaging counsel for legal services, including but not limited to preparation of loan documents, lender’s instructions, title review, etc.
- Reviewing transaction document sets prepared by counsel
- Communicating/coordinating with external parties (e.g.
counsel, title, and escrow, etc.) and internal parties (sales, underwriting, operations teams, etc.) as needed
- Verifying and boarding loan/transaction data points into core processing systems (nCino, Salesforce, and Jack Henry)
- Assisting with lease and loan transactions across various business units, including equipment finance, commercial client lending, structured finance, and income property lending
- Assist with preparing the filing UCC filings
- Maintaining full awareness of current file status at all times to manage pipelines, workflow, and loan funding deadlines
- Responding to and remediating audit findings, as needed
- Assisting with special projects as required or assigned by management
