Job Summary:
Premier AV rated civil litigation firm has an opening for an Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability and employment defense litigation who is looking to assume immediate file handling responsibilities and continue to grow in their careers.

Significant experience necessary in performing all aspects of discovery as well as courtroom and mediation experience.

We are looking for candidates who are motivated, reliable and can assume responsibility working as an integral part of a collaborative team as well as independently.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Associates are given meaningful, hands on legal work at every stage of their careers while working closely with other attorneys and Partners.

Independently manage a litigation caseload working on cases from beginning to end, including handling court appearances, depositions and communicating with clients.

Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a track record of insightful research and persuasive writing abilities.

Must also have the ability and desire to provide excellent work product that reflects strong research, writing, and analytical skills as well as drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.

Qualifications and Skills:

· JD from an accredited law school

· Licensed to practice in the state of California

· Min 3 years of experience in general liability and employment defense litigation

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Significant Federal and State court experience and/or administrative hearings desired

· Strong analytical skills and deadline-conscious
