Vaidehi Nagarajan Chair, Dept.

of Computational & Quantitative Medicine at Beckman Research Institute.

This project involves development and application of large scale data anlaysis techniques from the Systems Biology field to molecular dynamics methods, and the study of the dynamics of G-protein coupled receptors complexes to understand its signaling selectivity.

The project is inter-disciplinary and provides opportunities to train in large scale data analysis techniques as well as interact with experimental collaborators.

City of Hope provides a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment with opportunities to interact with clinician scientists to conduct benchside to bedside research.

Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:Ph.D degree in Chemistry or Physics or Biochemistry with experience in protein dynamics studies.The candidate should be knowledgeable about concepts in statistical thermodynamics, in python scripting and C++ programming.Preferred education experience and skills:Familiarity with Molecular Dynamics methods and experience in code development, is preferred.City of Hope is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
