Job Summary:AEIO, LLC is seeking an experienced Cisco VOIP Engineer to assist with the administration and support of the Cisco call system.

Our ideal candidate will be well versed in identifying dependencies, issues, and risks, as well as understanding the impact of deliverables and production environment.Responsibilities and Duties:Provide daily administrative, engineering, and upgrade support for CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager), CUC (Cisco Unity Connection), CER (Cisco Emergency Responder), UCCX (Cisco Unified Contact Center Express), and CLI for Cisco IOS.Perform analysis, design, development, programming/debugging, testing and certification of the Cisco UC application and hardware.Perform end user Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletes within the UC environment.Basic routing and switching and security skills necessary to support Cisco UC environment.Participate on project teams with engineers, project managers and technical staff.Troubleshoot end user and system issues in the Cisco UC environment.Plan, organize, coordinate, and execute assigned technical projects, often requiring expert analysis and direction to teams of other specialists.Perform daily VoIP system checks.

Maintains all devices at 99.98% or better availability as is detailed in the OCIO Customer Services Handbook.Provide updates to as-built system documentation, write projects plans for upgrades, maintenance, and ability to create/update end user “how to” manuals.Evaluate emerging technologies to contribute to the long-range planning for system evolution.

Conducts market research and provide reports showing best in business/industry leading directions.Provide daily VoIP system checks and provide COTR/Team members with a report that outlines the status of the infrastructure along with any problems that were found and were either rectified and/or must be rectified to include details of steps taken and/or that should be taken.Open service tickets for system maintenance/upgrades as required.Work on customer support service tickets.Required Skills/Abilities:Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a wide array of audiences and to do so with appropriate sensitivity.Experience conducting research, analyzing information and data, and presenting findings in a clear and concise format.Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.Excellent judgment with the ability to manage highly sensitive, confidential data and information.Collaborative style that fosters cooperation and involvement.Education and experienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.Three (3) years of related experience on various projects involving Cisco voice and other IP telephony technologies.Certification Cisco on Cisco voice systems (preferred).Additional Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in the US.Aeio, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
