Chocolatier

As a Bottega Louie Chocolatier, you are fundamental to the success of the company. The Bottega Louie brand is a diverse, bold, and vibrant visual language which is most profoundly seen in our exquisite pastries, chocolates and elegantly packaged market products.

  • Your primary function at Bottega Louie will be to maintain the quality and consistency of our chocolate and confectionary products with a considered purpose and a strong attention to detail.
  • You are responsible for daily production of handmade chocolates, caramel and other sweet confections.
  • Experience working with chocolate. Molding, tempering, shelf stable fillings and more.
  • Must be a team player and work well in a full & busy kitchen in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience and have the ability make a variety of chocolate confections including, truffles, bonbons, chocolate bars, caramel, ganache
  • As a Chocolatier, you will need the ability to coordinate daily responsibilities with commissary management and uphold brand standards to deliver consistent products.

  • Preferred five plus (5) years of experience in a similar position, ideally in high volume production kitchens with technical skills in Chocolate and Candy Making from-scratch products.
  • A team player, high-energy, dedicated individual with a passion for Chocolate work and have a flair for working with Chocolate.
  • Must have CA Food Handlers Card.
  • A flexible schedule for early morning shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. 8 hour shift. Weekend availability.
  • Culinary Degree preferred, but not required.
