Balance short
– and long-term goals and business prioritiesManage, mentor, and inspire a team of developers to deliver best-in-class solutions to our customers and usersPartner closely with Product Management to deliver innovative and user-friendly applicationsRegularly explore new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency, quality, and align with business requirementsDefine delivery roadmaps, oversee technical architecture, and explain architectural tradeoffs to internal stakeholders and engineersLead the organization in the acquisition and/or development of new systems, software technology & tools, ensuring effective upgrades with no compromise to serviceOwnership for software engineering team, resources, and budgetEnsure all engineering practices adhere to regulatory standards and best practices for privacy and securityProvide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual R&D reports to stakeholdersQualificationsBachelors in Computer Science or related field requiredPrior experience as a senior engineering leader overseeing architecture and engineering for a leading SaaS technology platform is required10 years of software development and leadership experience requiredStrong understanding of and ability to apply leading machine learning, artificial intelligence, and business intelligence applications to customer challengesExperience as the principal manager of a team of full-time developers working on sophisticated web and mobile applicationsGuide and mentor the team to achieve reliability, customer trust, and high development velocityThe ability to analyze business and data requirements, relate them to product capabilities and support future product developmentExtensive experience with microservices architecture and managing a multi-product portfolioA bias for action; subscribe to an equal focus of technology and process with an effective blend of the two; understand how to balance business and technological requirementsExceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skillsA strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building new productsAdherence to Companys core values, which are: 1) Customer Obsessed, 2) Extreme Impact, 3) Endless Curiosity, and 4) Team Before SelfMore Jobs Like This Job No.
