Chief Program Officer International Economic Nonprofit Location is Remote Salary is Commensurate with Experience Terrific Chief Program Officer position with a growing international economic nonprofit focused on creating jobs in crisis-affected communities.
The Chief Program Officer will provide strategic oversight for multiple programs across the United States and Central America that serve small and medium sized businesses.
The CPO will use management tools to ensure proper leverage of staff and will have a strong understanding of how data impacts business decisions and KPI’s.
The position will manage, mentor and train a team of 10.
The role will also contribute to strategic development within the organization and will collaborate to identify new fundraising sources.
Qualified candidates should have 5+ years of management experience overseeing programs benefiting small and medium businesses at a nonprofit, government or within the for-profit sector.
Strong business acumen and leadership skills are a must.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee a portfolio of programs and the related staff provided by the organization
- Refine program service delivery models to small and medium-sized businesses and keep them relevant, impactful and proprietary
- Work to ensure standardization and quality of current programing, while taking local context into account
- Collaborate with the CEO to identify, secure and grow strategically critical regional and global partnerships
- Manage the program function in line with organization culture and values while ensuring development opportunities and career progression for team members
- International and domestic travel as needed
Qualifications
- Approximately 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing multiple programs serving small and medium businesses
- Demonstrated experience managing a disbursed team
- Ability to provide demand and data driven business insight
