What we are looking for

As a critical member of the executive leadership team, the head of our Exclusive Family Office, Total Wealth Management and Business Development functions will deliver a superior client service experience, one that leverages our ‘œbest thinking ‘ consistently (Investment & Client Service Platforms) across all clients in a way that supports our common brand, the growth of our business and the growth of our people, while also maintaining acceptable levels of risk to the firm (legal and compliance).

Relying upon extensive knowledge and field experience, this leader will leverage their expertise and organizational perspective towards continuing the development and engagement of a practice function that is responsive to, and anticipatory of, the ongoing needs of the business, both near-term and long-term.

This executive must possess broad and strong competencies covering all aspects of leadership including strategic planning, policy development, organic and inorganic growth strategies and collaboration.

The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated history of success building and leading dynamic, distributed teams (100+) in a high growth environment, possessing a hands-on proactive style that delivers solutions to support the business and its people.

The right candidate for this role will have a proactive approach to developing strategic vision and a strong employer brand as well as executing operational initiatives and leveraging the totality of the team to do so effectively.

Specific Duties & Areas of Responsibility
Lead business and market developments efforts including identifying opportunities, developing relationship, and identifying prospective engagements to drive growth.

Prepare and establish comprehensive business plans to achieve growth and margin targets.

Analyze and maintain current service levels; developing efforts to enhance or improve.

Develop and plan around minimizing attrition, identifying risks, and executing on strategies.

Promote consistent adoption of Firm ‘s Investment and Wealth Planning ‘œBest Thinking.

‘ Take ownership and partner with department heads scoping out strategies in human capital, compliance, and finance/billing.

Participate and collaborate in key committees, including Executive, Compensation and Operating Committees.

Drive budget process for department, projection of budget revenue and compensation planning.

Further develop and enhance company culture.

Oversight of our Growth Incentive Plan structure and logistics, partnering with Human Resources and Finance.

We want

Bachelor ‘s Degree in related field; graduate degree preferred.

A minimum of 10 years leading/directing a wealth management practice group.

Possess collaborative decision-making abilities to forge successful partnerships across organizational boundaries, at both senior and operational levels.

Strong process, operations and analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possess the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills: ability to develop comprehensive written reports and/or documents, and present ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

Demonstrated success in formulating and implementing effective plans, policies and programs that serve to improve organizational performance.

Well-organized and self-directed individual with high ethical standards.

Must possess the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Extensive knowledge of industry and market trends.
