Chief of Staff

Serve as strategic advisor and partner to the CEO while taking on day-to-day tasks that enable the CEO to focus on larger strategic organizational initiatives Champions and drives efforts across the team to improve effectiveness and contribute to making Company and this team a great place to work Whether as a proxy for the CEO or sitting by his side, prep for, lead, and follow up on leadership and team meetings at an expert level, facilitating healthy debate, arriving at shared context as a team, managing meeting outputs, and holding other leaders accountable for their deliverables Communicate context to leaders and teams within Company
– often as an ambassador to the CEO
– so that they are empowered to make good decisions and solve problems at their level, reducing information cycles or escalations to the leadership team when it can be avoided Spearhead business development for product related partnerships (e.g.

maintain a strong understanding of and relationships with other technology companies building interesting things in our space) Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity Assist HR team with onboarding of new employees to ensure a smooth ramp-up Own various special projects that are constantly changing (ie.

SOC2 audit, PR campaigns, rebranding initiative) Planning employee/leadership retreats to ensure we continue to be the best team we can be despite our work from home nature Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications
Requirements
BS or equivalent, MBA strongly preferred, software development or consulting experience desirable 3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g.

startups, consulting, PR, executive support, etc.) Low ego
– no task is too small.

– highly skilled in writing great emails, an expert in shorter vs longer summaries, and known for making amazing PowerPoint decks Deep experience in complex, mission-critical program management roles Organized, with proficiency in time management, prioritization, and communication The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
