Company Overview:
We are one of the very few companies globally that can provide micro-positioning systems where GPS can’t be applied. Our micro-positioning systems involve five internationally granted patents. The earliest one goes back to 2013. Docent technology can be used for contact tracing systems for pandemic prevention. We also deliver footfall count, heatmap, navigation, analytics, and location-based promotions for retail companies.
Our team works with a broad spectrum of customers including governments, major shopping centers, airports, theme parks, performance venues, museums, emergency responders, hospitals, and other private and public institutions and venues.
Though we may seem like an early-stage company, Docent is backed by 19 years of work in the software development and hardware space, having served more than 500 public and private enterprises, nonprofits, and government institutions. We’ve even worked with one of the largest shopping malls and department stores in the globe before COVID-19 halted our ability to expand.
Our goal today is to introduce digital contact tracing systems before the next pandemic and to serve the new demand of retail businesses reopening in uncertain times.
Position Overview:
Docent is looking for a part-time Chief Executive Officer to lead the company’s strategic partnerships, investor relations, and general operations. This person will pioneer the training, recruiting, and development of sales processes to improve efficiency within the organization. This person will serve as the dynamic voice of the company through high-energy marketing and positive outreach to prospective clients.
We can’t pay you a big salary but can provide generous commissions and stock options. Young entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
? Develop and implement marketing and sales plans/strategies to help penetrate target markets
? Manage a portfolio of large public and private clients full-cycle.
? Re-engage past clients that were disrupted by Covid-19.
? Partner with operations and marketing to increase company awareness.
Qualifications:
? Must possess a global perspective and personable attitude to work in an international environment.
? Ability to act proactively and respond fast.
? Strong business and financial acumen with analytical ability to assess the business and drive the organization forward.
? Ability to present and engage with C-Level prospects and clients.
? Ability to multi-task and perform a wide range of activities while remaining self-directed, self-motivated, and self-managed, even when operating outside of core focus.
