Work you’ll do * Responsible for technical oversight of key milestone activities in conjunction with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and be expected to support Engineering Review Boards (ERBs), Engineering Working Group (EWG) and serve as a subject matter expert for the test program. * Demonstrate high technical knowledge and practical experience with testing and integrating complex ground/space systems from the element to the system level. * Engage in multiple aspects of ground mission processing, integration, and test activities to include test and mission objective planning, C2 systems, their interfaces, and standards, test instrumentation, digital engineering and modeling, and hardware and software verification and validation. * Incorporate Agile concepts across multiple fields including software, product development and integration and test. The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation. Qualifications Required: * An active Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI) clearance is required to be considered for this role. * Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM-related field of study with 15 years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 12 years of experience. * Three (3) years of technical leadership experience, systems engineering experience or other related areas with a demonstrated knowledge of Ground Based Mission Operations Systems (DoD space systems experience is desired). * Five (5) years of experience leading large technical proposals and the ability to lead the client through technical reviews of technical performance. * Ten (10) years of formal management experience in the defense industry to include performance reviews for direct reports. * Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and digital toolsets such as CAMEO, IBM DOORS, Siemens Teamcenter, etc. * Strong leadership and communication skills are critical for success in this role to help drive issues to closure, provide clear insight to the client and maintain program schedule. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. * Travel up to 20%. Preferred: * Federal consulting experience is desired. * Familiarity with DoD acquisition, engineering, and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) policy and procedures, DevSecOps best practices, and relevant industry best practices is desired.
