Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Test raw materials, in-process, bulk, stability, method validation samples, and finished goods using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, TOC, water activity, melting point, viscosity and wet chemistry methods
Follow GMP procedures and is responsible for full compliance with the FDA regulations
Test OTC raw materials according to the USP and FCC monographs
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments as required
Prepare volumetric solution and perform standardization as needed
Maintain all documents and retain samples
Follow lab safety and properly dispose hazardous wastes
Organize work bench area and clean glassware
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering field with extensive laboratory experience
1+ years of lab experience outside of academia
