Chemical Engineer

Nesco Resource is partnering with a local company in Latham, New York in their search for Chemical Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in the hydrogen industry As the Chemical Engineer, you will support projects related to membrane electrode assembly (MEA), along with performance and reliability improvements.

This position is a year-long contract with potential for permanent hire.

Keep reading On a typical day you might: Perform various analyses necessary for the materials and conceptual design of fuel cell systems to meet functional, performance and cost requirements.

Assist in the integration of stack platforms into system platforms by creating requirement and validation testing.

Coordinate analytical studies as needed to demonstrate design performance at both component level and sub-system level.

As a valued team member you will bring with you: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, etc.

Prior internship or work experience preferred Experience with chemical processes and a fundamental understanding of interactions of material sets in an MEA in a Fuel Cell system preferred Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of electrical / electronic systems is desirable If you are interested in joining a growing team, please email lhammnescoresource.com.
