is seeking a smart and energetic Packing and Shipping Associates to work in our growing shipping & receiving department.
The ideal candidate should have general shipping knowledge, packing boxes, material handling with some computer knowledge.
This position is part-timeDuties and responsibilitiesWorks well in a team environment to ensure all customer merchandise is shipped securely and promptlyMust be computer savvy and a willingness to learn in-house programs and systemsFamiliar with FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipping programs.Accurately processing of ordersMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsAll other duties as required in the warehouseQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1-2 years experience in a Shipping or Receiving positionFamiliarity with normal shipping and receiving methods including familiarity with package carriers.Self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision and constant direction.Commitment to excellence and high-quality standardsExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skillsAbility to manage priorities and workflowVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmAcute attention to detailSome computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines consistently.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a larger group.Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
