Asym Capital is hiring!
We are looking for an all-star CFO/COO to join Asym Capital (remotely).
Our firm is a lean and mean private equity company, founded by Hunter Thompson. Hunter is a well-known real estate entrepreneur who is the host of the Cash Flow Connections Real Estate Podcast, author of Raising Capital for Real Estate. He has personally raised more than $45MM from hundreds of investors all across the US.
We are growing quickly and need help with fund administration, due diligence, and underwriting of more than $100MM of CRE in our pipeline of 2021.
Our CFO/COO will not only need to have an extensive background in accounting, but also a significant foundation of knowledge in terms the underwriting and analysis of multiple sectors of commercial real estate.
Perhaps most of all, we are looking for someone who is ready to go on a wild ride. Our firm is positioned to do some incredible things in the next few years, but it will only be possible if all of our team members are ready to work with an anything-it-takes mentality. This means you’ll asked to become an expert in new skills quickly, as well as be 100% committed to personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
- Due diligence across several asset classes (self-storage, mobile home parks, ATMs, senior living, distressed debt, multi-family apartments, and etc.)
- Underwriting
- SPV/Fund Administration – For context, we currently have 15 LLCs and 400 investors
- Investor relations
- Issuance of distributions
- Issues of tax documents
- Overseeing book-keeping
- Interfacing with our CPA
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in accounting, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
- 4+ years in accounting
- EXPERT in excel modeling
- In-depth knowledge of various CRE asset classes
- 10/10 attention to detail
- Analytical mind, comfortable with advanced investing concepts
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Pay: $100,000+ plus participation in GP promote
